The other night I gave the twins a bath and when I came downstairs, Dylan and Summer were gleefully jumping up and down. They were very excited because they had made something for me.
“Where is it?” I ask.
“In the fridge! In the fridge!”
And they pull this out….
Here, let me give you a closer look….
My first thought: What the f*ck is that?!
Second thought: How long was I upstairs?!
Third thought: That is so sweet of my girls to make that for me. Oh please don’t make me eat it.
“It’s dessert for you!!! We made it all by ourselves. Try it!! Now!!!”
“But shouldn’t I wait until I have dinner?”
“No! Try it now!” they cheerfully exclaim.
“It’s good,” I say. You know, if you’re into weird, soggy, mysterious stuff in a bowl.
“Just don’t eat all of it because it’s for daddy too,” they explain.
So in case any of you want the recipe…

It’s like I’m writing one of those awesome recipe blogs.
mama bird notes:
I want to do a little shout out to some of my recent advertisers because without them I might not be able to afford candy and my soy lattes. Which would probably result in me being so not funny. So thank you to school labels at Bright Star Kids, Tiny Prints, and Party Pail (who is having a SALE right now!).
