the doorman is going to clear all this snow, right?!
Rick and I have really embraced the suburbs…
The space. The peace. The beauty.
The shoveling.

Gosh, doesn’t he look happy? Just a man in the great outdoors doing good ole fashioned manual labor. It just feel good.

Yeah well, forget that picture. Trust me, he loved it out there. Where am I? Well, somebody had to do the relaxing inside.
The girls got to go sledding for the very first time which they seriously loved.
Although they are still working on their sledding skills…

Classic video, made me chuckle. Have to say though, you’re much shorter than I thought.
Oh, wait, those were the girls. My mistake.

Haha. Love how Rick narrates like he’s at work covering breaking news

Funny. Kids just love sledding even if they are still learning to get out of the way

Oh, I can’t show these pictures to my kid. The first year we don’t go to New York for the Holidays since his birth, and it’s the first year there’s a genuine White Christmas. All that child wants to do is sled. I have to admit though, that my main feeling is relief. Flying into all that seems pretty overwhelming. We’ll just stay here in Southern California and think it’s wintery weather when it hits about 50 degrees. That’s just fine with me.

Oy vey! It’s uncanny to see Dylan’s face there on Rick’s shoveling body.
Glad to hear that you are inside relaxing. That’s exactly where you need to be.

Funny! Todd’s workout for the day was shoveling and mine was pulling the girls on the sled! Hope you are feeling well! XO

I was waiting for the end result of yet another family member in the hospital from a ‘sledding accident’. Glad it wasn’t that way. Have fun in the snow, I’m in Florida having fun in the sand.

Awww, you did get snow. I missed having all that snow this weekend (we only got a dusting). Those sledding collisions are the worst. Especially when it ruins your indoor quiet time because someone comes running inside crying. =)

I am squealing! So funny!! Nothing like kids to make you sound like an old Yiddish man!

I’m glad you told me that was snow. For a minute, I thought it was another planet.

I loved the “oy vey” as well. Makes me miss home that much more

Looks like fun (except for the shoveling part)! Hope that you really were inside relaxing.

submit that one to America’s Funniest Home Videos! I was thankful for “traditional” roles on Sunday as I read the paper and baked cookies while husband shoveled.

I’m so jealous of all these snow pictures on everyone’s blogs! My son still has never SEEN snow. At 13. Living in FL, perhaps I should stop counting on it…
