Hope they are sleeping more for you. No sleep is challenging (although we did not seem to have a problem with it in college - I guess that is because we were younger and could sleep in till noon. . .)

The not sleeping part, not fun. But further proof that every girl needs a sister.

and then, when they're NOT home and you have the house to yourself you STILL won't sleep. You'll be longing for the days when they only drove tricylces and not MILLION pounds cars.

I'm just sayin. :-)

Sounds alot like my house. Ever since daylight savings my little guy has been waking at 5:30/6 am. I go in and tell him the same thing....its not morning yet, its sleep time! There's a kids clock I'm thinking about getting him that turns to yellow when its time to get up!

I've been worried lately that my 2yr old wants to drop his day sleep. He can't fall asleep until after 9pm some nights, and is up at 6am, if not before. My 1st did those naps until he was 3 and a half. I had to stop my 2nd son's naps when he was 4! And then today, I had a nanna nap myself, so let the 2yr old sleep for as long as he liked (I've been waking him after an hour & a half). I slept for 2 hours, he slept for 2 and a half. I thought, 'There's no way he'll go to sleep before 9pm tonight!' Put him to bed at 8pm 2nite, and out like a light! Go figure.

OMG! I just finished reading about your fellow blogger Anissa and my heart is just breaking for her and her family! I also have a friend who had a stroke, and I am happy to say that she has largely recovered. Let's hope Anissa has a similar recovery!

Hey...it's Thanksgiving. Be thankful they're out of diapers, can speak and make themselves understood. They can understand YOU and they're both healthy....sounds like a bunch of schmaltz...but it's really true...ask a mother who doesn't have those little things to be thankful for.

Yes, those nights drive me insane. Actually, my son still wakes up before 6 am. I threw my alarm clock out 4 years ago. ;)
