happy christmas y’all
So you know what happens when you run out of wrapping paper at 9:30 pm on Christmas eve and you convince your husband to run to CVS to buy more?
You end up with a lot of hot pink gifts.

Yeah, that was pretty much all the wrapping paper they had left in the store.
Hey, at least this neon, 80s inspired paper is “made from sustainably managed forests.”
Wish you all a hot pink, way cool Christmas. xo

and did it cost you 6$ a roll? I went this morning and nothing was on sale and all they had left was the Hallmark wrapping paper for 6$ a roll– i purchased 4 rolls.

*BaHaa* at least it was something pretty……and my guy always gives me grief for buying my wrap early and often (I do live in Chicago!!) …this will teach him!
Mery Xmas!!

Good think you’ve got girls. This year, my holiday cards turned out to be 5×5 because I didn’t pay attention to the size when I ordered them. They were totally puny and lame, but I decided that if anyone made a comment about it, I would tell them that it was “the new thing” and that they were “environmentally-friendly.” Hot pink wrapping paper could be “the new thing” along with 5×5 holiday cards.

Did Rick love his pink present? Merry Christmas, to you and yours.

Pink is a signature color, after all. Mery Christmas – did you actually write y’all? Gotta get you down to Texas where you will fit in with that expression. Hope you have a fantastic 2010!

Merry Christmas from not so sunny Florida!

Didn’t Fox T.V. have a Xmas Day party for the children of the staff? I saw it here in Fla. on t.v. with Fox & Friends and they all had their kids on…I was looking for your girls. P.S. Make your own wrapping paper. Use paper bags/crayons/glitter/stick-on decorations and the girls can do it. A ‘new’ Xmas tradition.

I would have LOVED hot pink paper on my gifts.
I however went the “thrifty” way and used the ads for CVS, Best Buy, and Kohls to wrap my gifts!!!

At least your CVS had paper! Mine didn’t and I ended-up making a desperate dash for some subway maps at the F-train. It came off as very hipster-chic.

I’m impressed they had anything!! Hope it was a good one!

Makes for a fun Christmas story, for sure. Could have been much worse…like Transformers wrapping paper or Twilight…

PHoebe probably would have hung it on her wall she loves pink that much.

I think the pink was perfect for your girls! Unless of course you already finished wrapping their presents and had only your Dad’s and your husband’s to wrap…
Merry Christmas to you!
