I’m relating to this on so many levels. I was ALWAYS picked last in gym. I have fond memories of big red splotches on my arms from missile like volley balls (we used foam for dodge ball).

And I’ve had two experiences with flying down to Key West to be with my mother in the hospital. Different reasons – but worrying about your mom is awful for everyone. Losing her to cancer is one of my biggest fears. I’m so glad to hear that you mother is strong and fighting and getting such good care.
