kids’ music with some funk
Isn’t it time you put a little New Orleans soul into your children’s music selection? Tulane graduate, mother of two + music lover, Lauren Busch Singer came up with the idea of taking traditional kids’ songs and making them a bit funky. The result is a jammin’ compilation of songs by acclaimed artists like the Radiators, the Neville’s and Bonerama. Tunes incude “Yellow Submarine,” “Hokey Pokey” and “Zip A Dee Doo Dah.” This is one kids’ CD you won’t mind hearing a few zillion times. Listen to the tracks or order the CD at Funky Kidz.

Thanks, I will check this out.
I could do with a break from the endless loop of Incy Wincy Spider (the 2 year old) and Kevin Has a Place on Earth (Heaven is a Place on Earth – the 4 year old)…while the 6 year old sulks because I won't put on hard rock (otherwise known as Bionicle Music).

The CD is great…too bad they only accept paypal, because I've stopped using it.
I would love to get something similar for my son, he had a blast at Jazz Fest.
