Who doesn’t want to be groovy? So I was thrilled (in a cool, laid back, groovy way of course) to check out a new line of dolls from Groovy Girls.
Having still not quite recovered from the Barbie doll aisle at Target, where the Barbies seem to be competing for the shortest, tightest outfit… I was quite relieved to see the Groovy Girls ride into town.
They are just super cute dolls that seem age appropriate and fun. But definitely not boring. They have stylish, changeable outfits (something I know my two girls can appreciate). Oh, and they have pets! And take it from this former dog owner, there is nothing better than a faux pet.
Each doll or pet comes with a code that can be used to access special activities on the Groovy Girls RSVP website. So check it out and get your groove on.

Yippeee! Dolls that don’t look like overly made up sluts with bedroom eyes! They look like ::gasp:: cute little girls, what a brilliant idea! There is hope!
crap. i just gave away the BIGGEST bag of groovy girls to the salvation army (seriously, about 12 of them) because i didn’t know any little girls who would want them. sigh.
Sweet dolls. They are cute, but I wonder if the softness of them sets them apart from the fashion dolls? Part of the fashion doll fun is their posable bodies…
Cute, but they don’t sound like something my boys would touch with a ten-foot stick.
A faux pet and little-girl toys that aren’t eye candy for grown-up boys: excellent!

i’ve seen these, and i’ll be getting some for jessamine when she’s older. there will be no slut dolls in my house.
Groovy dolls look very cute. and economical, I can plan giving these dolls as Christmas gifts.

I’m partial to Groovy Girl Daphne. Her wardrobe is a little nicer than her namesake’s (me!)
