Agreed, this was a l-o-o-o-n-g wait for us Philly folks; especially with all those painful almost-did-it seasons for each and every Philly team. Now I know you’ve been in NYC for awhile, and I’m no arena football fan, but… the Soul should get SOME credit, no?

Couldn’t agree more with the whole column. The night of the resumed game 5, I was in Detroit preparing for an oral argument in court the next morning. Needless to say, not much work got done. (Thankfully, the argument went fine anyway.) The Phillies Win the World Series! Makes me feel like I am 10 again. I didn’t make it to that parade in 1980 (though my school took all the kids outside during recess and we “paraded” with signs and Phillies stuff around the track. I’ll miss this parade too (being in Atlanta), but maybe I’ll dress our twins up as “Philliles” (after all, it’s Halloween) and we’ll have our own little parade. The dogs can wear Phillies caps too. Sound crazy? Well, so is the Phillies winning the World Series. Ya’ Gotta’ Believe! GO PHILLIES!!!
