This could be the dumbest question ever but how do you keep your kids’ socks organized? I’m constantly shoving the wrong size socks on my children. I have enough to do without stressing about my 4 year-old wearing socks meant for a 2 year-old. They all look practically the same. Trying to sort them, when I fold the laundry, is making me nuts. Ideas, please!

    I assigned the task of sorting kid socks to my five year old and he loves it! I share your disdain for the job, but it makes my son feel very important. If you do not have an extra five year old with time on his hands, I say just don't sweat it, your four year old will let you know if the socks are uncomfortable. Good luck.

    Old Navy socks have the size on the bottom of them. It makes is easier to sort. I also put them in a lingerie bag as soon as they go in the hamper.

    I saw some socks at Fred Meyer (Gold Toe brand, I think) that used one line for small; two for medium; and three for large. That seemed nice.

    Also, this was a suggestion when I had just one kid, but a friend recommended buying only one color of socks. You could choose one color per kid!
